I found some videos of Sally on the internet and think it would be a good idea to put that link on Sally's homepage. I bet a lot of Sally's fans would love to see those videos. I never had the chance to see Sally live yet, so this is as close as it gets. Here is the link. Best wishes to Sally and the webmaster from a big German fan, recently moved to Scotland.

Hey Sally. Here this little Jewish kid (well, not so little, I'm 39) sits on Christmas Eve and I tripped across this show, SINGING IN THE SHADOW. WOW!!! What else can I really say except that Sally has an amazing voice, regardless of who her parents are. Have you ever experienced the Canadian Rockies? Would LOVE to have you come up to Alberta (Calgary/Banff/Canmore) to play. Thanks for putting a great big smile on my face. What a nice surprise to have tripped over this show.

Great performance at the Apollo! It was great to see you singing with your family-although you're great on your own!The warmth was palpable and was very inspiring for the holiday season. Happy holidays and all the best in 2005! Thanks for the autograph backstage-you were all so nice!

It was so great to see you at the Apollo. I went Friday night. You looked so awesome in that red dress. You and Ben are the best...separately and together...like another of my favorite singing duos. You may know them! The show was every fan's dream...to see your whole family together singing was really great. Please encourage "Mama C" to do it again real soon. We just love her...and we love her family. Thanks for some terrific holiday entertainment that I won't ever forget...Looking forward to new music from all of you! Thanks for turning me on to the fabulous Winans! They were excellent! Come back to Albany and see us....

I was fortunate enough to see you sing with your brother and mom and it was so wonderful! It was my birthday gift to myself to go and I completely enjoyed it. Your stage presence is so sweet and charming. I would love to hear you sing live in New York sometime. If I could help set it up, let me know! I have a CD autographed by your mom and one from your brother. Is there any chance I could ask you to sign one for me? Have a wonderful Christmas with your family.

Sally, saw you for the first time on TV a many months ago. Totally impressed! Slowly but surely, you're managing to break into the big time and what impresses me most is you're doing it outside the mainstream rules. Don't be surprised to learn you have an ever increasing following down under in Oz. Sadly, Mom and Dad's old vinyl albums collect dust these days (sorry guys) but you are gifted enough to stand alone- and so you should! Sally, you're a credit to your profession. Keep on giving.

Here in Italy (Rome) your Dad is very famous and appreciated. I am a fan. But couldn't find any cd of yours nor hoping to see you playing here a concert. ANY PLANS ABOUT COMING HERE? Anyway I am a GREAT fingerstyle and flatpicker acoustic guitar player.........and I'd be proud to be considered for any project you'd like to make here.

I'm a northeast girl turned colorado physician with a good musical ear. How can I get the music to Amity and any other Sally Taylor CD's. When I was younger I always said that I wanted to be Carly Simon in my next life. Last summer I went to Tanglewood to see James Taylor wearing the t-shirt that I got in 1972 at Tanglewood when I was 12 (amazingly it still fits). I tried to get it autographed but the guards wouldn't let me near the door. If you ever need a back-up singer I'm just down the street. My family is very musical and couldn't understand why I went to medical school when I could have been a singer.

Hey Sally - I had the pleasure of seeing and meeting you last year at the Conduit Club in Trenton. You were AMAZING! Just this past weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting your dad in Pittsburgh and again backstage in Cleveland, touring with the Dixie Chicks. What an honor. You have a lovely family - both your mom and dad have been total inspirations. You are so blessed. Love your work - come back to Jersey anytime!

Hello Sally, Just wanted to tell you that i enjoy your music very much so. I am 21 years old, and I am overseas in Iraq with the US ARMY, and your father's music as well as your own, is the only thing that keeps me sane. I grew up listening to James Taylor from the day I can remember. Each song has a memory to go along with it. My father is a New York City firefighter, and your dad's music is a great bond between us. I heard your music when I was in 12th grade. I have been hooked ever since. Not only are you beautiful, you are very talented as well. Thanks for everything.

I have been an admirer of you for the past three years, and have been inspired by your road diary and your journals. I have not been to your site for several months because I have been grieving the loss of my beautiful son to a drunk driver on April 10, 2004 (I received the call while I was making his Easter basket on Easter morning) So through my grieving I have been unable to sleep, eat, or do anything I use to find enjoyment from. Tonight I went to your site, first time since I lost my son and read your journal on your travels. I was so touched and inspired by your journey and your beautiful heart as a humanitarian that for a moment I was so captured that I was able to breath without the pain. I have to let you know how intensly you touched my heart tonight. Thank you for sharing your stories and your beautiful heart. You really made a difference for me tonight. And by the way you were a breathtaking bride. GOD Bless You.

I saw you, and talked to your Uncle when you were in Boulder in August. Growing up in the 70's I too grew up listening to your Dad and Mom. They were a great part of my memories and I had many of their albums. And now I have the CDs. I tried to bid on the Albums not only for the sentamental value, but we actually own a great player for them! Well anyway we really enjoyed your music and your brothers as well as Livingstons! I can see the whole family is soooo talented. I was disapointed that Wendy Woo wasn't there. I met her a couple of times with Sue Blair. Sue also knows your dad and Uncle( She's the redhead that grew up in Boston) and that's who introduced me. I'm sure Wendy had something important come up. Finally I wanted to let you know how much your bennefit moved me. I was proud to be the winner of some auctions that supported such a great cause. I am looking in to making some of the quilts for the kids. I look forward to supporting this cause and will wear the t-shirt proudly!

I would just like to share my story with you. I am a 21 year old college student from Georgia. I am a fan of the Taylor family, from what I can tell there's not an untalented one in the bunch. I heard about the Tranquility Project from your website somewhere around the 25th of August. Sally, Ben, Livingston, and special guest!!! Hello?? I had to go!! Attending was the farthest thing from reality in my eyes. I have no money. I have class on Monday. How would I get there? Well... my tipsy grandma shelled out the money, my good friend, Bryant, hooked me up with a buddy pass from Delta and I decided to skip class. As easy as that, my friend Bryant and I were on our way. We managed to fly first class there. And take the RTD from Denver to Boulder. Then we hitchhiked to Chautauqua. Then we didn't have a place to put our bags, so we threw them in a bush. Then we hiked around Chautauqua for a while, bought our tickets, and ate dinner. Finally, it was 6:00. The concert was amazing! . At one point I was fighting back the tears because it was so wonderful. My eyes were opened to the landmine issue; I had no idea that it was an issue of today. We were planning on taking the RTD back to the airport and sleeping there, but it was late and the RTD had stopped running. We were stranded. We didn't know what to do except ask around to see if anyone had any suggestions or if anyone was going to the airport. After talking with a few people we ran into Nathan Dopp, aka our hero. He was the biggest help to us. Then Sally heard that were stranded and came over to hear our story. She seemed to be very impressed with our willingness to travel to see The Tranquility Project. They assured us that weather we stayed on Sally's couch or in the Outlook hotel that we would have a place to stay. Nathan then drove us to the hotel, took care of the tab, and arranged for the cab in the morning. This was a HUGE favor---like I said we are broke college kids. We were gonna have to ! sleep under the bushes with our suitcases! Basically this goes down as the best 24 hour adventure ever! I would have imagined that Sally and her friends were friendly but this was unbelievable!! I cannot even begin to express my appreciation to Sally and her friends (especially Nathan Dopp)! I would have sent a thank you letter but I didn’t know where to send it so lets just count this... OK? :)

Sally I got to see you in Vail the summer of 2001 and I still can't get your tunes out of my head! What talent! I want to share your song "Tomboy Bride" at my wedding. Although I couldn't think of anyone better than you to sing unfortunately I'm going to settle with my cousin. Where on earth can I find your sheet music? Please help! Keep the passion.

Hi Sally, someone from France too (stephen,i think),just wrote what i wanted to write.i've been introduced to your beautiful music and lyrics through the same tv documentary, and i was really amazed by your talent but also by your personality and the fact you wanted to go independant and respect your music instead of being "the new hit wonder".i'm also a female singer songwriter (with english lyrics),going solo and i know how hard it can be just to make myself heard but on the other hand,if it's the price to pay for artistic freedom and for sparing my health in the long run, then it's ok :-)...i am not very familiar with your parents' work, though i've heard of James Taylor as he was a contemporary of another artist that i truly admire and love, called Nick Drake, but discovering your own voice and your music was a real revelation, because you're very talented and your voice is so beautiful.I hope you'll get the chance to tour in europe and play gigs in France, some day, because i'm sure you could make it big over here. Good luck with your career and humanitarian involvement (that really touches me,as landmines are those disgusting things that keep reminding us how bad war can be),and i have to get your two other cds,as the only one i got for the moment is apt"6 and i love it! all the best and a lot of success,to you,and know that you have fans in France. peace.

Hey Sally! I was traveling around Thailand in January and I heard from a couple of people I met that you actually know the editors from Farang Magazine. Is this true? That magazine is brilliant! I planned my whole trip with it and it never let me down. If you're in with those guys then I am impressed. Keep up the good work!

All I have to say is with the parents you have I would be surprised if you couldn't sing! James Taylor is the best vocalist I have ever heard. He has the smoothest voice in the business. He had to overcome some demons to become the man he is today. I have a lot of respect for him.

I love reading your tour diary from Thailand. You are such a good writer and today when I read your journal from March 5 regarding land mine victims it made my heart very sad. You are truly a beautiful soul and an example to your peers for having such a compassionate heart. I too pray that one day all Land mines will be dismantled and the needless violence will end. I also pray for your safety while you're in that area of the world. Let the Light of Jesus within you shine for all to see.
