Hey there Sally and I do hope you'll get this. I just heard some of your stuff while taking a break from a European tour. I love your stuff! I suggested to my team that we should get you to Europe and do a tour, and you know one of my chums said: "Do you know who Sally Taylor is?" I said,: "Yes an amazing singer and writer and I want her to play with us if she wants to".

They then went into the speel of who your parents are, blah, blah, etc... You know I don't care, and no disrespect to your folks but I didn't even know who your parents were even now that I know their names. I figure if you're into music, traveling and bringing your stuff to the European continent get in touch. I'd love to get something together for us. I'm celebrating 25 years of Willie Brown Blues this year and it's been a ride. you're welcome to join us for some of it if you're not too busy.

Sally, it was great to see you 2 weeks ago on MV at Midnight Farm - you, Ben and David did a wonderful show. I hope you have a fantastic year ahead of you and that we run into each other once again! Saw Dean for a minute but he was busy chatting with someone, he looks great! Love, Marji

HI SALLY!
Like many others who visit you here, I have been a fan of your incredible Mom for 35 years. I "found" you and Ben for the first time when you guys performed with Mom in Atlantic City last year, and my life-long dream of seeing your mother perform live was FINALLY fulfilled! (I sure hope I'll get another chance someday!)

Well, I'm on your web site now to tell you I am so glad that you AND your brother appeared there too! You are both so talented and so obviously devoted to your Mom, that I could not help but to want to hear more, and now I have another favorite female artist to enjoy, and I thank you so much for that! Although you are your own person, and your own talent, which I find wonderful, I also see so much of your Mom in you...maybe it's the caring and sweetness and lack of pretension and aloofness that so many other celebrities unfortunatly demonstrate...you are so genuine, and so grounded, and like your Mom, your work seems to come straight from the heart! ! Thanks again for coming to Atlantic City with your fantastic mother, and take note, you have ANOTHER new fan as a result!

Hi Sally:
My family and I were fortunate enough to see your mom, your brother, and you perform this past November in both the Borgata casino in Atlantic City, NJ as well as the Jazz at Lincoln Center. We were thrilled to have gotten to hear such wonderful talent. Thank you also for waiting afterwards with your brother to meet with the fans. We enjoyed meeting you and my two young children (ages 4 and 5) liked meeting you as well. Thank you for signing your wonderful cd and taking pictures with us!

The pleasure of introducing your music (and your brother's) to my friends in Japan is great. Your fans here are waiting for your tour bus to arrive! Looking forward to your next offering.

Sally, please don't follow any misguided Tarot cards or let any person tell you who to love. I used to read the cards (and I was quite good at it) but I gave it up when people began to ask me how to live their lives. What did I know? It was so scary to have people ask me what decisions to make about their lives. What expertise did I have? I had a psychic connection with Tarot cards, but so what? We each have to find our own way in life, as I'm sure you already know.

Hi, Sally! Please, please, please!!! The time of "Don't say you don't remember" is now! 2005 finally is gone!!! Please, release this beautiful song... I love this song in your voice! I don't give up of my request. I'm your fan since that movie, don't forget that music!! Kisses!

Hi Sally, I saw you perform with Ben and your Mom in New York at the Riverkeepers dinner. I saw a lot of love on that stage! I have listened to your Mom sing for 34 yrs. Her music is a very important part of my life. Every night I listen to her music when I go to sleep. Carly Simon is a dear, sweet, soul of a lady. Her music has helped me through some not so great times in my life. I also have your music, Bens and ofcourse your Dad's music. Thank You Sally! Love your voice and your music.

I'm no psychic, but it seems clear to me that not only can you have BOTH a musical career and fulfilling marriage but a whole lot more. To name a few... writer (no, author!), knit designer, model, mentor, role model, restauranteur, sister, daughter, friend. Don't give up! You have what it takes to have it all!

Bobby and I LOVED meeting you and Ben in Starkville at Rick's. We were excited to see Ben, but it was a great treat (and pleasant surprise) for you to be singing backup. The music was great. Hope you can visit us again sometime! Have you ever considered adding Mississippi to your tour list too? And how did you like the "deep" south??? P.S. "The dogs" send their love!

Wow! Was I ever blown away to discover your web site. Your photo totally caught me off guard. You are such a beautiful combination of your parents. I can't wait to hear your music. I listened to Ben's music for the first time last night. He sounds so much like your dad! Your family is AMAZING! What a gift you ALL have received. Some how your site has invited me to want to listen to your music. What a GREAT surprise to just now learn about you. I love your site too. Thanks for sharing the family sign story. That was really fun to read about.

Sally, Never Ever EVER even consider the advice from someone who imagines they can run anyone else's life... if Phoebe's so smart and all of that... The book "Divided Lives" by Bob Woodward's wife years ago laid out what your generation can learn from the choices/decisions of your Mom's/my generation... There IS a way to do both... BUT one has to come first... Someone who really REALLY loves you and whom you can build a life with... can that come second to AnyThing... Sing a little... love a LOT... Any professional astrologer or psychic gives you the information YOU need to make a wise decision on when to do what... does NOT tell you what to do...

Sally and Ben tore it up at The Record Bar in Kansas City Wednesday night (3/1/06). I am very proud of them. I know mom and dad have to be very proud of them. Ben and Sally were very nice (great picture takers!)and personal. Sally's definitely a heartbreaker- very pretty young lady. I have supported mom and dad over the last 25 years and look forward to doing the same with the "kids". I hope to see them in Kansas City again very soon.

Dear Sally,
Such a pleasure seeing you and your brother this eve. My Mother brought me up on your parents music. And I now bring my six year old up on your brother's music, and after tonight I am happy to say You are inspiring, you bring dynamics to the stage. Oh Sally, I fear my sheepishnesss has lead me astray in the oppurtune moment in conversing with your brother. I know not how to ever correspond with him except through finally finding this avenue through your guestbook. I feel fortuante today in bringing my 6 year old to the live broadcast. My sheepishness held my tongue when had the opputuinity in conversing with your brother, and now feel like a fool for not saying what I had hoped. None the less. If Ever the chance to let him know I wish to keep in contact, it would be with utmost respect and consideration. have a safe and healthy tour. Sincerly,

Hi Sally! It's nice to see you adding to your journal again. I enjoy your perspective on life and things. And who knew you were such a talented knitter? I saw you on Martha Stewart a few months back and your dress was awesome. I really think you should try eBay or a similar auction and put one of your ponchos up for bid. You can raise money for The Tranquility Project. Just an idea. Keep smiling, singing, knitting and everything!

Sally, thought it was about time I wrote. What can I say but you and your family are great. I like your site here along with you Dad's and Ben's too. It's a bit hard down here to get ahold of your music as things go astray with money and deliveries etc. I have been getting some stuff, but your songs are hard to come-by down here in Australia. Will you guys ever tour down here? Seen your Dad here whenever he's played, but I would like to see you guys too. Keep up the good work and I'll keep listening.

Hey, Sal! Thanks for the shout out from the Bowery Ballroom. Ben may have great fans, but he's definitely got one helluva sister! One point of clarification for your blog, the bag with the goodies came from Nell. 'Raz' is Gus's cousin, who currently lives with Nell. I do hope Raz travels well and gets lots of fun pix taken of him along the way. Much love and respect for the music from one grateful fan, xo LT :-)

Sally, I really enjoyed Ben's show in Dallas, Texas on February 7th! I only wish you would have done a solo. I purchased one of Ben's CD's at the merchandise table after the show, met Ben and had my picture made with him. I only wish I'd met you too, but, maybe next time. I'm a long time fan of your mom and dads. In fact, I'm going to try to see your dad when he plays in Grand Prairie, Texas, in April. You take care now and have a great rest of your tour.

Just got back from seeing Ben, Sally and Tristan at the Tin Angel in Philly. Tonight just proves that when you have a good, attentive audience, you will tend to pull GREAT performances out of the performers and both Ben and Tristan weren't merely good... they were fabulous! The real treat came when Sally did "Split Decisions" with the band. Sally, it's been a long time since we've heard your wonderful pipes belting out your music and we got chills tonight remembering great shows by you in the past. Hope that this tour is part of you getting back in the main musical vein (if that's your choice) and that we'll see more of you (and a new CD) soon. Love to you all and great fortune and health on the rest of the tour. We've clued in some friends in SD to see you on the last night. Be well!

Sally, Hope the road is treating you well. I am writing to tell you how much I enjoyed the show in Knoxville. I have been a fan of Ben's for a while now and never knew you sang with him. Have you always done this or is it just this tour? Anyways it was a great show and really hope to get to see you both again in the near future. Also I was able to meet Ben at the merch. table @ Barley's in Knoxville and talk with him for just a second, which was really neat, but I was hoping to meet both of you! Maybe next time and enjoy the rest of the tour.

Hey Sally- I drove two hours to see Ben last week in HOTlanta. What did you think of the show? I was secretly hoping that he would sing that (i think) Dan Shaw song "Boyfriend". Hi Sally - Looking forward to seeing you and Ben at the Tina Angel in Philly this week. We enjoyed the fantastic concert your mom, you and Ben did in AC in December, truly one to remember for us. Dear Sally, Just thought that I would let you know how much I love to read your road diaries. Blogging seems to be the new net buzz word, the thing that everyone is doing but as a net user of more than 10 years (scary seein' as I am only 28 myself) I have read a fair few of these 'blogs' & I have to tell you that 'baby yours are the best' (s'cuooze the paraphrasing) You paint the most vivid images with your words & they would easily make a great book. You certainly don't need an editor to make them work. Please keep doing what you do & hopefully one day there will be road tails from my little island. Love Life & Chocolate.

Hi Sally,
I love your road tales...what an eloquent & humorous writer you are. Your words paint the perfect picture.
Back in Nov. Ben gave out his home number at a show in LA with Tracy Chapman. I gave him a jingle a few months back and invited him over for a home cooked Italian ravioli dinner when he came back in town. (Ben...if he remembers... now knows me as the So. Cal. O.C. (Orange County) Ravioli Queen.
He was warm, kind, funny, humble and very sweet. He was astounded by the invite also. He had me text him all the pertinent info...home # etc..It was wonderful talking with him. We also talked about how great your song "Give me the Strength" is. It's my favorite Sally Taylor tune. We couldn't talk too long because Grandma was on hold :] I told him there are many fans in our area that would love to spend an evening getting to know him. The invite goes for you too. You also have fans in the area that would love to get to know you too. I know you were in LA last Fri. (Feb. 3rd) and unfortunately I couldn't make the show. (I had no one to drive to Hollywood with and didn't really want to go alone!!). I was so disappointed, devastated, & sad in missing the show. I asked at least 20 friends to attend with me to no avail. I tried to contact Ben to remind him of the dinner invite but his voice mail was/is always full! Doggone it!
Soooo the next time either one of you are in So. Cal LA area please email me and I will gladly make a home cooked meal for you.
So sorry that life on the road is so rought except most times for the actual performing. I am sure Dean misses you as much as you miss him. How lucky and blessed you are to have found your soulmate.
One more thing......check out Tyrone Wells on tyronewells.com. He is AMAZING and the next Bob Dylan. Mark my words he will be big. He is a local singer/songwriter that I've "adopted" as my son. He is a huge fan of your dad's and got to meet him at a UCLA talent show a few years back that they both attended. Tyrone will knock your socks off musically! I guarantee it!!! Tyrone, Sally, Ben rockin' in my livingroom that's what I'm talkin' about!
Sorry this is so long....I had much to say.
Take care and keep rockin'.

You have to be one of the sweetest people on the planet. I had the pleasure of meeting you at the chevrolet theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut. Aside from being blown away with your talent, I was so impressed with your kindness and warmth, expressed within our conversation. I took my wife and 24 year old daughter to see your Chicago concert. I was spent from the joy of watching the three of you perform. When Liv came on I thought that was wonderful. I have all his CDs and think he is amazing. I sw your father in 1971 at a little coffee house in Philly. There was a snow storm and olny a few braved the conditions to see him. he sang Fire and Rain and told the story. It was moving. I saw your mom in Central Park at a concert probably around the same time.Good luck I hope you and Ben can come back to Chicago in the summer and maybe play Ravinia. Thanks for your music and your kind words after the show . I was the one that asked about Tabor.

Just saw you, your mom and Ben at the Chicago Theater and I still have goosebumps. It was absolutley amazing. I hope you fell in love with Chicago and will come back. We would love to see you and hear you more. I really appreciate the time that you gave us signing autographs and talking 1 on 1. I won't forget it and I hope you had a chance to look at the letter and the photos of Ben. I am so forever grateful to your family, sincerely, in keeping me alive. I am a 9 yr survivor of breast cancer and without Taylor/Simon music, I would not be here.It always charges my battery for 1 more year and I am looking forward to the next time, from the time the concert are over. You are so pretty and we loved your voice. What surprise to see Livingston. I loved it when the 4 of you sang your dads song and loved Ben doing Mockingbird with your mom. Chicago is great in the summer !!

I'm so glad you & Ben convinced your Mom to tour!! We the public are so lucky for it!! Great show from you, Ben, Carly, the band...everything was perfect. The Chicago Theatre is a wonderful venue and the Taylor/Simon vibe did it justice. Thanks for a great show & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hi Sally! I saw your show last night in Chicago and loved your vibe. I am a musician too and really felt inspired by you (and your mom and brother) for my gig tomorrow night! When I saw you are a raw girl and so interested in causes and creating a beautiful world, I really developed even more respect for you. (I like that you went to Brown, too - great school!) It must be tricky to be a kid of famous parents, but you handle it so graciously and you seem to be doing wonderful things with your lucky, blessed life! Peace out girl!

AMAZING!! Saw the (4)Simon concert in Chicago last night!! This has to be the best concert I've ever seen. We had 2nd row center! I have never seen you or your brothers concert before, but I do have both your CD's (your were kind enough to sign and ship to me for Xmas gifts last year). I was never able to get tickets to any of your Moms before. I am a huge fan of your fathers and have seen him many, many times. Ben's actions are soo like his fathers. So we 3 sisters (one flew in from Vegas just for this show) and my 23 year old daughter saw this unforgettable show. We will never forget this evening! Your Mom really seemed surprise when Santa came out! By the way, who is Carrie? (the trophy Santa brought)Then to have your Uncle come out and sing!! You are all truly gifted. We tried to respect your wishes with no pictures, but when everyone else started, we just had to take a few to cherish for the rest of our days. We really have some great shots!! Thanks Again

My family and I saw you, Ben, and your mom perform in Washington DC and I just wanted to say that it was a GREAT show! You all have such wonderful talents and I wish you all the best of luck at your upcoming shows! I bought one of your t-shirts (the brown one) and I was lucky enough to get yours and Ben's signatures on it. I also wanted to say thank you for signing my shirt and I also wanted to thank you and Ben for taking a picture with me at the table where you two were signing things. I'm not sure if you remember me but you took a picture with me and my dad is the guy that asked something like "Can we take a picture of the 2nd generation Taylors with the 2nd generation Mooneys?" Hehe. Okay well thanks again and best of luck!

We just saw Carly, you and Ben at the Palace Theatre in Cleveland Ohio, Years ago your mom was here in Cleveland, and i always regretted not getting tickets. So when we saw that she was coming to Cleveland, i jumped at the chance to get tickets. I had never heard you or Ben sing before, and i will say, we were "Impressed". You both are wonderful, and we enjoyed seeing your mom "loosen up" while performing. She looked so happy and her voice has never changed, i will always love her music... I am going out looking for your CD, i have to have it !!!! Take care, God bless to you, Ben and your mom...

What a huge thrill to be in the 8th row for the Ann Arbor concert Sunday night! I saw your Mom 10 years back at Pine Knob, a huge venue in this area, and loved it then, but the show on Sunday was so much more intimate...I felt like you were all performing in my living room (I wish!!) I also saw you about 4 or so years ago when you passed through this area on your own tour. But to have the 3 of you together...what a treat! For me, it was a combination late birthday/early Christmas present, and the best present ever. And your Mom, for being previously under the weather and unable to perform the Indianapolis gig, looked and sounded wonderful, and looked so confident and comfortable on stage as well. She should be proud of herself that she has put those fear of performing demons behind her (or at least appears to), and carried out such a wonderful, successful tour. Hopefully, when you get settled, you'll be able to share with us fans through your road diary some of your tales from the tour. Again, thank you so much to the three of you!

Your concert in Ann Arbor was outstanding ! Besides your mother being the amazing performer she is, it was great to hear you and Ben as well. I went home and listened to both of your albums and will be a lifelong fan. Your lyrics and voice are amazing with a Natalie Merchant soothing tone. Best of luck to you and thanks for blessing us in Michigan. Remember if you ever want to talk to high school students you have my card.

Thank you with all of my heart for the wonderful performances that your Mom, Ben and yourself blessed us with at The Palace in Cleveland. Please thank your Mom for selecting Cleveland for her tour, it was a dream come true for me and one of the best Christmas presents I have ever experienced. The love and caring that was radiated Wednesday night was indescribable, topped off by "Close Your Eyes". I have sung that song hundreds of times over the years and was blessed enough to have the opportunity to sing it along with you, your Mom & Ben on Wednesday. I still get goosebumps from my shoulders down through my legs when I think about it. I will never forget it, ever. Please give your Mom a huge, giant hug; the "never want to let go" kind of hug. We in Cleveland love your Mom very much and thank her for sharing her love and musical talent with us. . . Best of luck to you & Ben, you have both been blessed with tremendous talents that have barely been scratched yet.

Sally, I saw you and loved you as I have loved your mother since I was small. As a lesbian I really loved Tomboy...obviously I look for a girl to make me her bride but I loved the song and thought you looked HOT. Keep up the good work, you got the best of both your mom and dad!

Sally, saw you along with Ben and your mother at the Orpheum show. I've been a fan of your mom's since the early 70s and she showed that she still has it...BIG time. Yourself, you looked and sounded fabulous. I enjoyed your set very much, particularly the song, Tomboy Bride - it was beautiful. I want to thank you (and Ben) for being there in support of your Mom, in addition to allowing me to become more familar with your own music. I'm off to order TOMBOY BRIDE as soon as I finish this! I wish you and your entire family much health, success, and happiness.

Your voice is absolutely beautiful. I had no idea just how sweet it is until I heard you and Carly sing Amity on her Reflections CD. I had to play it over and over again. I look forward to seeing you, Ben and Carly in Cleveland in a couple days. I have been a fan of both your Mom and Dad since the early 70's. Although I have seen JT many times, this will be the first concert for me to see Carly. What a blessing to have you and Ben there also. A couple years ago, in Pittsburg, you came on the stage and sang the last song with JT. You two were stunning together. Your family is so talented and blessed. If I could email you photos, I would show you my miniature dachshunds. I named them Taylor and Carly. Thank your Mom for doing this tour. We, the fans, have waited so long for this rare opportunity to see her in person. And, thank you for joining her.

Wow! What a super time last night at the Borgata. My husband and I had a blast and seeing the three of you together melted my heart as a mom. When your mom shook hands with my husband, that was a dream of his lifetime. We can't stop talking about the show. Hope to see you all again! You are all beautiful!

Just saw the concert in Atlantic City. WOW I was expecting a great concert with Carly Simon which was delivered 10 fold, but getting to know your music made it even better. Bought both of your CD's and your brother's CD's and can't stop playing any of them. Hope this concert gets you guys noticed. Would love to hear you on the airwaves. Can't wait to see what happens to your career.

Sally, you looked and sounded great singing with your mom and Ben on the Martha Stewart show today. You all looked so at ease and happy together. You should think of forming a trio: The Carly Simon Trio. Can't wait to hear your new music. Happy holidays to you and your family.

Sally, Sally, Sally... Man O' Man...what a great show you guys put on in CT the other night. Having been lucky enough to see many of Carly and JT shows (and a few of yours) I expected nothing but the best - and got it ten-fold. Each song was a treat....having you and Ben there was the icing on an already very tasty Carly cake! Your version of "Boys In The Trees" was so wonderful...great choice....and "Tomboy Bride" is such a great song too...I pulled out my Sally cds and played them on my 3hour ride to CT. I had forgotten how much I enjoy them and will keep them on the top of my cd pile. I've decided that I should just throw out all of my non-Simon/Taylor music as that is all I play these days - I never get enough. I'm looking forward to the new music you are working on...but in the meantime - GIRLFRIEND- YOU ARE AWESOME on your mom's DVD!!! That acoustic set is just fantastic. To hear you singing old favorites like "It Was So Easy"...oh my gosh...just fantastic. It was so nice to talk to you again after the show. You and Ben are a real class act. He seems like a great guy, a great son, and a great brother. You seem just as great as a daughter/sister. I often said how envious I was of the two of you to be the kids of my two very favorite singers...now I'm envious of my two very favorite singers having such wonderful kids....It's so nice to see your family all together (that Apollo show was SO GREAT - and you looked super fantastic in a red dress in the first night...) So in closing, thanks again for a fun show...I wish I could go to all of them! Travel safely and take good care of Momma...I hope she can enjoy her tour instead of dread it! We all love her to pieces... Best wishes and happy holidays,

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed last night's show with you, Ben and your mom. You all play so wonderfully together and the love and support you have for each other filled the whole theater. I've been a long, long, long time fan of your mothers, but the torch has definitely been passed. I was so impressed with you and Ben and your music! Thanks so much for a wonderful evening!

Saw you last night. What a wonderful show. I loved the trio on "You Can Close Your Eyes" and the way you and your brother loved, protected and supported your mom; who may as her song said be "floundering" but can always go back to connect to an audience through music and love. And that was a great appearance by the dog. Now we finally know who wets the bed!!!
